Happy Pancake Tuesday!!

 

Cooking is a great activity to do with your child, it is a great way to teach measurement, estimating, counting and so much more!! 

 

 

We Have a Busy Week Coming Up:

Monday Feb. 12th - Report cards will be going home for ALL students. An interview is not needed at this time. However, if you have any questions or concerns please e-mail us and we will get back to you.

Tuesday Feb. 13th - We will be celebrating National Pancake Day by making pancakes and eating them, too!!

Wednesday Feb. 14th 

 

♥💕 Valentine's Day Party 💕♥

 

 We will be having a party in the afternoon to celebrate Valentine's Day. If you would like to send treats in for the class, please make sure the treats are nut-free. Each child will be making their own 'mailbox' for Valentine's cards - if you would like to send cards with your child, please do not address them - it makes the handing out process very difficult!

There are 25 students in our class.

Thursday Feb. 15th

 

 Winter Activity Day
Thursday February 15th is Winter Activity Day at Clairlea! As the Junior/Intermediate students head out to ski or skate and the Primary students host their own activities, here at school, we will be having our very own Winter Activity Day. Please ensure that your child is dressed appropriately to play outside!!!

                 Our activities will include: games, a movie, treats and fun!

We learned all about Chinese New Year with our wonderful guest, Mrs. Clarke. She told us about the tradition of the red envelopes, taught us some Chinese words and even made lanterns with us!!
