Leaf Man

 

We read the book Leaf Man by Lois Ehlert.

 

 After we enjoyed the story and discussed it as a group, the children decided they wanted to make their own leaf man or leaf creature. We then decided to create a provocation about the Leaf Man story.

 

 

We made a list of all the materials we would need to create a leaf man or leaf creature.

Then we went on a nature walk to find our loose parts.

 

 

 And LOOK at what we created!

 

We have been very busy in K2 being writers, artists, builders and even outdoor explorers!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Halloween Party

We will be celebrating Halloween on Friday, October 27th and not on October 31st. On Friday, your child may come to school dressed in costume. We will have a day full of games, treats and FUN! If your child would like to bring in treats to share with their friends (there are 26 students), please remember that treats must be NUT FREE.
